Zebra Technologies Corporation seeks an experienced engineer for on-site R&D in Morris Plains, NJ. You will lead experimental design, material trials, and characterization in a lab setting to advance product development, including RF and PCB aspects.

This role requires the incumbent to be working on-site at our office located at Morris Plains, NJ.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering (with minor in Electronics or Electrical Engineering) with 5+ years of experience or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical Engineering (with minor in Electronics or Electrical Engineering) with no experience. Experience Schematic capture and PCB designs utilizing Altium Designer or any other PCB Design software. Exposure to to RF Engineering/ Antenna Design with knowledge of radio frequency systems, including NFC, UHF RFID, BLE and WiFi systems Experience in Operating, calibrating, and maintaining advanced analytical laboratory instrumentation.
Hands-On Lab R&D: Design, prepare, and physically execute bench-scale experiments, material trials, and chemical formulations to prove feasibility and accelerate product development. Experience in with CAD// CAM, 3D printing/ Prototyping

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 10% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
