Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Neurology is seeking a Full Time Data Management Coordinator to oversee clinical research data from collection to analysis-ready tables in Azure. You will mentor junior staff, generate reports, and coordinate with departments to resolve complex data issues while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

You will build and maintain REDCap projects, run Python pipelines, and produce enrollment and compliance reports for research teams, contributing to efficient data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of data lifecycle, governance, archiving and retention in research data.
• Experience with PHI, HIPAA, de-identification, and IRB-driven handling.

Responsibilities

• Review new research administration proposals, awards, contracts, and data documents.
• Build and manage REDCap projects, instruments and surveys, including bilingual versions.
• Run Python pipelines to pull REDCap and study data into the Azure data lake.
• Generate reports and analyses for internal planning and reporting purposes.
• Maintain the data platform, including Azure resources, Key Vault secrets and environment config.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and data quality; reconcile data and fix anomalies.
