Job summary

Rutgers University is seeking a part-time Research Coordinator for the Kleiman Lab in the Psychology Department to support suicide risk studies on inpatient units at UBHC. Responsibilities include screening and enrolling participants, administering interviews, configuring EMA apps, training staff, and maintaining data systems and regulatory documents.

The role involves assisting with data entry, dashboards, and follow-up assessments, with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and ethical study

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, public health, social work, or related field plus two years of human-subjects research experience.
• Experience following established study protocols and IRB requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to work with distressed participants and teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify eligible participants, obtain informed consent, and enroll in studies.
• Administer interviews and questionnaires; assist with EMA apps and wearable devices.
• Monitor data quality; manage logs and regulatory binders; assist with IRB submissions.
• Train and supervise undergraduates and volunteers; support lab meetings and study tasks.
• Work on-site in inpatient units with potential hybrid scheduling.
