Position Summary

The Research Coordinator performs a vital role forthe ClinicalResearch Office (CRO) by coordinating variouscomponents of multiple clinical research studies at any time. Thisposition reports to the CRO Associate Directors.

Primary Responsibilities

• Undertake coordinating tasks of clinical research studies.
• Assist investigators in successful recruitment and retention of subjects.
• Guide day-to-day operations of assigned studies, assuringadherence to protocol.
• Generate accurate reports.
• Resolve queries in a timely manner.
• Maintain contact with Principal Investigator, monitoringagency, sponsor, and contracted vendors.
• Generate IRB approved materials for distribution to study subjects to promote project enrollment and retention of enrolled subjects.
• Oversee implementation of research studies, generation of qualitative and quantitative data and data collection forms andsurveys.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned projectincluding development and implementation of research procedures andsystems.
• Assist Principal Investigator with administration of clinicaltrial protocols, including obtaining informed consents andscreening subjects, maintaining research records and researchsubject records, managing correspondence, researching medicalrecords, recording data, and attending training sessions.
• Support the management of the CRO.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 2 years of clinical research-relatedexperience, or an equivalent combination of education andexperience.
• Applicants must be familiar with clinical research proceduresand methodology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Nursing degree preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000
