Endeavor Health in Glenview, IL seeks a Research Coordinator to support cardiology studies. The role is full-time with standard hours, handling study setup, regulatory tasks, recruitment, and data collection across multiple sites.

The position involves IRB submissions, protocol adherence, participant consent, and close-out activities, requiring 1–2 years in human subjects research and a BS preferred. Competitive hourly pay aligns with experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years minimum experience as a Research Assistant or Research Coordinator in human subjects research.
• Experience facilitating recruitment and follow up strategies with subjects/clinic personnel.
• Ability to manage complex clinical trials with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Prepare sites for conducting the study, including assisting PIs with feasibility assessments.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures.
• Develop study forms, necessary database programs & data collection/entry strategies with applicable staff.
• Train medical assistants and nurses with regard to study protocols.
• Review and prepare correspondence with the Endeavor IRB (initial submission, protocol amendments, adverse events, yearly progress reports).
• Maintain regulatory documents as per sponsor and IRB protocols.
• Screen subjects for eligibility.
• Recruit, coordinate care (in compliance with protocol), and retain research subjects.
• Participate in the Informed Consent process.
• Complete study activities as dictated by protocols (face to face and telephone assessments, medical records abstraction).
• Collect, process, and ship specimens as applicable.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments for diagnostic tests & procedures.
• Complete and maintain CRFs and source documentation.
• Follow proper subject billing procedures; manage payments to study subjects.
• Complete study close-out activities and archiving/retention procedures.

Hourly Pay Range:

$24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

What you will do:

What you will need:

• Education: High School Diploma Required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience: 1-2 years minimum experience as a Research Assistant or Research Coordinator in human subjects research (or equivalent position) required. Experience facilitating recruitment and follow up strategies with subjects’/clinic personnel, operational problem solving and ability to manage complex clinical trials with minimal supervision
