## Research Coordinator-CardiologyApplylocations: GBH Glenbrook Hospital Glenviewtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Yesterdayjob requisition id: R45362**Hourly Pay Range:**$24.86 - $37.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.**Position Highlights:*** Position: Research Coordinator, Cardiology* Location: Glenview, IL* Full Time* Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm**What you will do:*** Prepare sites for conducting the study, including assisting PIs with feasibility assessments* Develop Standard Operating Procedures* Develop study forms, necessary database programs & data collection/entry strategies with applicable staff* Train medical assistants and nurses with regard to study protocols* Review & prepare correspondence with the Endeavor IRB (initial submission, protocol amendments, adverse events, yearly progress reports, etc)* Maintain regulatory documents as per sponsor & IRB protocols* Screen subjects for eligibility* Responsible for recruitment, coordination of care (in compliance with study protocol), and retention of research subjects* Participate in the Informed Consent process* Complete study activities as dictated by research protocols (including face to face and telephone assessments, medical records abstraction, etc.)* Responsible for specimen collection, processing, and shipping (as applicable)* Coordinate & schedule appointments for diagnostic tests & procedures associated w/study protocols* Responsible for completing & maintaining CRF’s & source documentation* Follow proper subject billing procedures* Manage payments to study subjects* Complete study close-out activities for each study and follow appropriate archiving/storing/retention procedures and policies **What you will need:*** **Education:** High School Diploma Required; Bachelor's degree preferred* **Experience:** 1-2 years minimum experience as a Research Assistant or Research Coordinator in human subjects research (or equivalent position) required.
