Job summary

Georgia Tech seeks a Contract Officer for Sponsored Programs to manage negotiation, execution, and administration of research contracts. You will ensure compliance with institutional policies and federal regulations while guiding faculty through the contracting process.

This position interacts with legal and finance teams and requires strong contract administration knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to draft and finalize complex agreements for sponsored research.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of contract administration principles and practices, including 2 CFR 200.
• Ability to draft, negotiate and administer contracts with academic sponsors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills for campus-wide collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Review proposals for compliance with sponsor requirements before submission.
• Negotiate contract terms with funding agencies to protect GT interests.
• Draft and finalize research contracts and agreements for clarity and compliance.
• Support faculty and researchers throughout contracting processes and funding.
• Monitor contract compliance and maintain accurate contract records.
