Seattle Children’s is seeking a senior executive to direct the Office of Research Compliance (ORC) and oversee the Research Integrity Officer (RIO) activities for SCRI. The role ensures compliance with federal regulations, leads audits, and guides investigations into misconduct in biomedical, behavioral, or animal research.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree (or equivalent advanced degree in Health Sciences discipline, Business Admin, or related field).
• 10 years supervisory experience or equivalent leadership role.
• At least five (5) years demonstrated program development/project management using lean methodologies.
• Seven years of experience in a research/healthcare setting, preferably compliance related.
• Experience with auditing processes and compliance related investigations.
• Successful senior-level leadership experience, including employee development, mentoring and coaching.

Aufgaben

• Direct the activities of the Office of Research Compliance (ORC) and lead the management of the Research Compliance Program and staff.
• Serve as SCRI's Research Integrity Officer (RIO) to investigate and resolve allegations of scientific misconduct.
• Ensure SCRI compliance with federal research-related regulations and institutional policies.
• Identify, prioritize, investigate and resolve compliance issues; conduct regular auditing and monitoring.
• Lead special compliance projects or investigations as required.
• Design, implement, and evaluate Institute-wide systems and processes promoting ethical conduct and deter misconduct.
• Develop educational programs supporting SCRI faculty and staff on compliance initiatives.
