The General Hospital Corporation Mass General Brigham is seeking a Training and Policy Coordinator to manage the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training program and keep the Research Compliance portfolio up to date.

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training program and maintaining the Research Compliance training portfolio. Monitors local, state, and federal regulatory changes and oversees resulting updates to policy, training, and the Research Compliance web page. Oversees Research Compliance policies to ensure they are reviewed, approved, and posted with the designated approval period. Monitors and updates the Research Compliance web page as new information becomes available. Serves as project manager for training, education, and policy initiatives.

Essential Functions

Serve as project manager for training and education and policy initiatives; Coordinate training dates, registration, and speaker assignment for RCR training. Track compliance with training requirements and issue certificates of completion. Provide reports to the Chief Research Compliance Officer and leadership as requested. Maintain compliance information on the web page. Monitor Research Compliance sponsored training modules for regulatory and institutional policy compliance. Organize and oversee updates to training decks working with appropriate content authority. Review regulatory and organizational websites for changes to local, state, and federals laws and regulations. Review policy, training, and Research Compliance web page when regulatory changes occur for compliance with new requirements. Review and track research policies for renewal periods. Work with institutional stakeholders for revisions or updates. Submit to Chief Research Compliance Officer for approval.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study required. Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

Experience

3+ years of experience required in a healthcare or regulatory environment with demonstrated effectiveness in organizing and coordinating a detailed portfolio of activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, working with a broad population. Work independently, be self-directed, and contribute as a member of a team. Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them. High level of service delivery. Demonstrate initiative with an ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing situations.

Working Schedule

Hybrid, onsite required based on business needs, 2 days per week on average
