Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Research Chemist to provide technical expertise for oral care product development from concept to launch, and to support ongoing improvements for existing products.

The role leads cross-functional collaboration with marketing, processing, packaging, analytical, regulatory, and safety teams, conducting bench-top formulation work, stability analyses, and label-support testing to ensure quality and regulatory compliance in a hybrid work

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Biochemistry or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead product R&D from concept to launch and post-launch activities with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical support for production start-ups, new launches, and existing brand maintenance.
• Design bench-top formulation work, conduct stability analyses, and report results.
• Substantiate label claims; coordinate testing with internal and external labs.
• Stay informed on market/consumer feedback to improve products.
• Create and maintain specifications and Design History Files for new and existing products.
