Position Summary: Prepare, negotiate, and maintain budgets and contracts related to research and clinical trial activity

Responsibilities:

  • Review research and clinical trial protocols and develop internal budgets
  • Negotiate the budget with sponsors and provide cost justifications as needed
  • Review the informed consent form for compliance with the budget and contract
  • Review the clinical trial contract for routine changes
  • Consistently maintain general knowledge of protocols and manage amendments of budgets and contracts.
  • Review legal language with the attorney and facilitate execution of Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements
  • Facilitate the legal review, execution, and billing processes of Cell Line License Agreements and Material Transfer Agreements
  • Manage Financial Conflict of Interest (FCOI) for investigators and staff
  • Maintain communication with Research Finance, Sponsored Programs Office, and Patient Billing Systems to ensure accurate costing data
  • Construct and review thecoverage analysis, treatment tabs, calendars, and the financial parameters in Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS)
  • All other duties as assigned
