Job summary

The University of Chicago Office of Clinical Research is seeking a Clinical Research Financial Analyst to support revenue cycle operations, including charging, billing, and collections. You will coordinate billing activities and ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.

Under the direction of the Associate Director Research Billing Compliance, you will promote financial compliance and prepare financial reporting for research studies, while collaborating with IRB, ROC, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Healthcare billing knowledge and familiarity with clinical research requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform all research billing activities including daily charge review and payment processing.
Conduct billing quality assurance activities and patient billing audits.
Assist in developing training and resource materials for research billing.
Follow SOPs and policies to ensure compliant research billing.
Generate Epic and CTMS reports for analysis and monitoring of billing metrics.
Collaborate with Clinical Trial Financial Group, Hospital Revenue Cycle, IRB, and study teams.
