Job summary

You will assist in subject selection and fitting of hearing aids and cochlear implants, and design methods to evaluate technology effectiveness. Responsibilities include preparing manuscripts and reports, maintaining equipment, and supporting IRB and daily lab operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level degree required: Sc.M. (Master of Science).
• Professional licenses listed: MO Audiologist license, BLS (AHA), BLS (ARC), CCC-A (ASHA), IL Licensed Audiologist.
• No specific work experience is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Performs/interprets audiometric tests.
• Assists in selection of subjects and works with patients in fitting hearing aids and cochlear implants.
• Designs methods to assess effectiveness of hearing aid and cochlear implant technology.
• Determines appropriate statistical methods for analyzing findings.
• Prepares manuscripts, graphs, photos and tables for journals and meetings.
• Calibrates/maintains audiologic equipment.
