Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology degree from a CAA- or ACAE-accredited program.
• Current and valid Washington State licence to practise audiology.
• At least one year of post-graduate experience conducting hearing evaluations and audiology assessments.
• Strong knowledge of standard audiology assessment procedures including otoscopy, audiometry, speech testing, masking.
• Ability to apply clinical audiology expertise in a research setting while following study protocols.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, participant privacy and confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and learn new equipment quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or comparable tools.

Responsibilities

• Hearing Evaluation and Assessment: conduct testing per study protocols, including otoscopy, pure-tone and speech tests.
• Research Protocol Support: collaborate with research and operations teams to execute procedures accurately.
• Data Quality and Interpretation: review results, identify inconsistencies, provide observations for data integrity.
• Participant Support: communicate clearly, create a safe and comfortable testing experience, protect privacy.
• Equipment and Testing Readiness: support setup and troubleshooting of audiology equipment; keep tools ready.
• Research Operations Support: assist with recruitment strategies and stay updated on best practices.
