Job summary

The University of Alabama in Huntsville is seeking a Research Associate V, S1-4 to join the Information Technology & Systems Center. The role focuses on all aspects of 3D printing CAD models, including printing, post-processing and finishing, and operation of 3D resin and filament printers.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, 5.5–7 years of full-time experience, and extensive CAD/3D software experience with resin printing; experience with Solidworks or Rhino is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and years of work experience.
• 5.5-7 years of full-time verifiable work experience (preferably in science, engineering, business, liberal arts, or equivalent).
• Must have extensive experience with CAD/3D software. Experience with and extensive knowledge of resin printing is required.

Purpose of the Position:

The Research Associate V, S1-4 will be involved in all aspects of 3D Printing of CAD Models. The person will be required to print, post-process and finish 3D printed models and operate 3D resin and filament printers.
