Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Research Associate in Neurology to contribute to planning, design, execution, and management of neurodegenerative disease research in a foundational biology lab. You will develop study goals, perform advanced molecular and cellular techniques, and collect and analyze data while supporting grant proposals and SOPs.

Collaboration across NeuroMAP initiatives is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years relevant experience or 1 year with a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience in clinical, translational, laboratory, biomedical, or neuroscience research operations preferred.
• Ability to coordinate across teams, develop methodologies, and support manuscript preparation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and manage research projects in neurodegenerative disease research.
• Design and conduct complex laboratory experiments using molecular/cellular techniques.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret research data; refine methodologies and experimental design.
• Support grant proposals, SOPs, inventories, and operational workflows for NeuroMAP.
• Coordinate activities across NeuroMAP pillars and supervise staff, postdocs, and students.
• Prepare manuscripts, reports, and presentations for conferences.
