Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Laboratory Associate to support manufacturing and bottling of SCGT media and kits in Minnesota. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or equivalent and 0–2 years of lab experience.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, proficient with Word and Excel, and able to communicate effectively across teams. As part of Bio-Techne, you will help prepare chemicals, track inventory, and assist in production of existing products.

Pay Range:$40,300.00 - $66,250.00

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manufacturing and bottling, methylcellulose-containing media, SCGT media, kit components and Cultrex products
• Prepare chemicals and reagents required for production manufacturing
• Perform occasional mouse embryo dissection.
• Component and chemical inventory tracking and maintenance.
• Oral and written communications between multiple departments.
• Ability to perform Lowry, BCA, and Sircol assays with reproducible results
• Assist in production and packing of existing products as needed.
• Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Handbook and follows guidelines regarding safety as outlined in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance to the job.

• Performs additional duties as assigned

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Education and Experience:

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree in the biological sciences or equivalent with a minimum of 0 to 2 years laboratory experience.
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as computer entry and/or typing skills are required.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
