Job summary

NYU Grossman School of Medicine invites applications for a Research Associate in the Sahu Lab to study mammary gland development and breast cancer initiation. You will work with stem cells, organoids, and genetic tools to model tissue formation and disease, while learning advanced laboratory techniques in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• College graduate with a B.S. or B.A. in Biomedical or Physical Sciences.

Responsibilities

• Train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in experimental design and performance.
• Generate hypotheses and design experiments to test them.
• Execute multiple experiments independently over time.
• Record findings in lab notebook and analyze results.
• Suggest and test protocol modifications.
• Prepare figures/diagrams for presentations and publications.
• Communicate results and collaborate with lab members.
• Present findings at lab meetings and engage in scientific discussions.
• Read relevant literature and contribute to manuscripts.
