NYU Langone Health's Grossman School of Medicine invites applications for a Research Associate in the Sahu Lab. Join a team using stem cells, 3D organoids, and powerful genetic tools to model mammary development and breast cancer in a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Biomedical or Physical Sciences and commit to two to three years, with opportunities to contribute to publications and grant preparation while developing advanced lab skills.

Qualificações

• College graduate with a B.S. or B.A. in Biomedical or Physical Sciences.
• A minimum commitment of two years is required and placement in position may not exceed three years.

Responsabilidades

• Train graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in experimental design, technique and performance.
• Generate hypotheses and design and perform experiments to test them.
• Execute multiple experiments independently over time.
• Record all experimental findings in a laboratory notebook, analyze and interpret them.
• Independently suggest and test modifications to protocols.
• Prepare figures and diagrams for presentations and publications.
• Communicate results and collaborate with other professionals in the lab.
• Present findings at lab meetings and participate in scientific discussions to advance the project.
