Job summary

The Department of Systems Pharmacology and Translational Therapeutics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for a Research Associate position in the Academic Support Staff. Expertise is required in in vivo CRISPR targeting, flow cytometry and general molecular cell biology techniques.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Biological Sciences required.
• Experience with in vivo CRISPR targeting, flow cytometry and molecular cell biology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop a vigorous research program focused on neuroimmunology and neurodevelopment projects.
• Interact with and train technicians and graduate students.
• Assist with submission of grant applications/contracts and funding of research projects.
• Participate in discussions, monitor research progress and morale.
