AccuScan Sciences is seeking a dedicated Research Associate to join our team, focusing on assay development and clinical validation for MRD testing. You will assist in experimental design, data collection, and analysis while collaborating with scientists to advance our MRD assay.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in life sciences and at least one year of lab experience, with proficiency in basic laboratory safety and equipment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in life science or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory safety and protocol.
• Skilled in working with basic laboratory equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and process specimen shipments
• Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis
• Conduct testing under supervision of a senior staff
• Perform routine technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
• Contribute to molecular biology and genomics workflow development and improvements
• Ensure accurate and consistent recording of experiment methods, materials and results; keep a high-quality laboratory notebook
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe lab environment
• Assist with safety, hazardous waste, and facilities
• Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving
• Perform other duties as needed
• Adjust work schedule to meet time-sensitive project milestones
