Job summary

The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) is hiring a research associate to support the Missile Defense Agency at Schriever SFB, Colorado, analyzing C2BMC and BOA components of the MDS in system tests.

You will work with a team to deliver rigorous quantitative analyses, present findings to senior leaders, and coordinate with government officials and contractors in a dynamic, high‑security environment.

Qualifications

• Education/experience combinations meet criteria for data analysis roles.
• Ability to collect, organize, synthesize and analyze data; communicate findings clearly.
• Security clearance and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technically rigorous analysis for C2BMC and BOA within MDS.
• Support test planning, execution, and results presentation to leadership.
• Collaborate with government officials and contractors at MDIOC Colorado.
• Travel may be required occasionally.
