Cedars-Sinai's Merrill Lab is seeking a Research Associate II to support ongoing studies in congenital skeletal conditions. Under supervision, you will perform routine and increasingly complex lab tasks, gaining expertise in areas relevant to projects and maintaining safety standards.

You will participate in data collection for publications, assist in preparing results for scholarly meetings, and help with general lab maintenance and procurement.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences required.
• One year of research laboratory experience required.
• At least one year of biomedical research lab experience preferred.
• Experience working with mouse models preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs a variety of laboratory protocols and assists in designing new protocols.
• Maintains accurate records of experiments and results and troubleshoots unexpected results.
• Orders laboratory supplies and supports laboratory operations.
• Maintains lab equipment and coordinates use of equipment.
• Assists in operation of specialized equipment as required by the research area.
• Assists in preparation of data for publication and/or scholarly presentations.
• Adheres to safety standards and procedures.
• Mentors and orients junior lab personnel and student researchers on day-to-day operations.
