Job summary

The Merrill Lab at Cedars-Sinai invites applications for a Project Scientist to work with Dr. Amy Merrill-Brugger. You will contribute both independently and with the research team on congenital skeletal conditions and target discovery, while helping run routine lab operations.

Qualifications

• Doctorate required.
• Completion of postdoctoral appointment; at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Demonstrated significant, original contributions to a project or program.
• Demonstrated technical competency in diverse research techniques and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of grant proposals, submissions, publications and presentations.
• Possibly serve as PI for certain grants as approved by supervising member.
• Participate in publications and presentations as author or co-author.
• Develop, adapt and implement new research techniques and protocols.
• Assist in day-to-day laboratory activities and data analysis.
• Lead or train staff researchers and fellows.
