Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking an energetic Research Associate II to join the assay development team in Hercules, CA. The role involves developing clinical diagnostic products for the BioPlex 2200 platform and executing assay performance verification studies.

The candidate will follow protocols, handle clinical samples, document results, and assist with lab operations, contributing to project goals and deliverables in a collaborative R&D environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in biochemistry and molecular or cellular biology research.
• Experience with standard biochemical techniques including assay development and multiplex assays.
• ELISA experience and use of laboratory instrumentation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist development of clinical diagnostic products for BioPlex 2200 platform.
• Follow established protocols for assay formulation and development.
• Handle clinical human samples including aliquotting, labeling and testing.
• Conduct assay performance verification studies on BioPlex 2200 instrument.
• Document experimental results and support daily lab operations.
