Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Research Assistant to support research in reproductive and developmental biology. The role uses mouse models and molecular/imaging approaches to study gonad development and infertility.

The position is based in the Reproductive Sciences department with a day shift. The starting range is $20.57–$25.72 per hour for RAII and higher for RAIII, with full-time, regular status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent AND 2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field AND 1 year of directly related experience OR Master's degree in a related field

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments and record data; follow established research protocols and troubleshoot as needed.
• Design and execute daily laboratory experiments in coordination with senior personnel and train trainees.
• Analyze data using statistics and graphical methods; present results in meetings and publications.
• Improve methods by evaluating new techniques and bringing in innovative approaches.
• Maintain laboratory operations, inventory, safety, and effective communication with the team.
