System One seeks a Research Associate II - Assay Development in Oro Valley, AZ for a 2-year onsite contract. You will conduct R&D and manufacturing experiments for IHC and molecular kit development, design and interpret experiments, and present findings with GMP/GLP-compliant documentation.

You will prepare technical reports, collaborate with a team, train colleagues, and contribute to process improvements with potential for extension or permanent placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences.
• 2–4 years of relevant post-college experience.
• Proficiency in a range of specialized wet laboratory techniques.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience in reagent and instrument development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct R&D and manufacturing lab experiments to support IHC and molecular kit development.
• Design, execute, and interpret experiments and apply technical expertise toward project strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses and present results with compliant documentation (GMP/GLP).
• Design and execute experimental protocols with minimal supervision and analyze data.
• Prepare and present technical reports; maintain records.
• Troubleshoot problems and institute corrective actions.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to project planning with innovative input.
• Contribute to process improvements and potential patentable inventions.
• Train colleagues and ensure Quality First Time adherence.
• Exercise judgment in selecting methods for complex problems.
