Job summary

System One in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking a Research Associate I to conduct research, development and manufacturing laboratory experiments in support of company projects. This is an onsite, 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to permanent employment.

You will apply technical expertise to design, execute and interpret experiments, prepare technical reports and quantitative analyses, and present results within the department and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences preferred.
• 0-2 years of relevant post-college experience.
• Onsite laboratory environment and teamwork in a GMP/GLP setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, development and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support company projects.
• Exercise technical expertise in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies.
• Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses.
• Presents and discusses results of experiments within department and project team.
• Maintains familiarity with scientific literature and may participate in conferences and professional societies.
• Follows company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control and others as appropriate.
• Maintains complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files.
• May act as principal investigator in conducting own experiments.
