You will assist in studying molecular structure and mechanisms that govern electrolyte properties, using IR spectroscopy and electrochemical methods to gain molecular insights. The role involves designing experiments, characterizing electrolytes, and collaborating with theoreticians, with emphasis on planning, writing, and communicating results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field.
• 1 year of related work experience.
• PhD in chemistry or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• 60% Perform research in the lab ranging from material preparation, characterization, and modeling; develop projects and propose new ideas.
• 35% Write manuscripts and support proposal writing and reports on various projects.
• 5% Other duties as assigned.
