Job summary

Integrated Resources, Inc. is seeking a Research Associate in the Discovery Chemistry Group to support purification of small molecule drug discovery at client sites.

You will join a high-energy team handling purifications for small molecules, macrocycles, and related modalities primarily via preparative HPLC. The role requires developing HPLC methods, interpreting data, troubleshooting instruments, and presenting findings in group meetings.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline.
• Theoretical knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry with hands-on chromatography experience (RP, NP, IEX, SPE) and analytical techniques (MS, NMR).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in clinical research preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support purification of small molecules and related modalities using preparative HPLC.
• Develop HPLC methods and troubleshoot instrument/method problems.

• The successful candidate will develop HPLC methods, summarize and interpret data, troubleshoot instrument and method problems, interact with chemists to help support their projects, and present findings at group meetings.
• Members of this team are expected to keep up to date with the latest methods and technologies.
• The successful candidate will accomplish our mission through innovation, teamwork, creative problem-solving, and through the use of state‑art technology including HPLC, LC-MS, and a variety of automation equipment.

Who You Are

• The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
• BS/MS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related scientific discipline.
• Theoretical knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry with hands‑on experience in chromatography (RP, NP, IEX, SPE) and other analytical techniques (MS, NMR).
• Can work in a fast‑paced environment and be highly organized, detail-oriented, motivated, and can multitask. Must have good time management skills.
• Can work collaboratively in a team as well as independently with a strong sense of individual accountability.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), interpersonal skills, and problem‑solving skills.
• Certification in clinical research preferred .
