Job summary

Genesis Global Group, through The Institute for Biomarker Research, seeks a Research Associate in Hamilton, NJ to design and validate microbiological and molecular diagnostic assays. This in-person role operates in a BSL-2 setting and collaborates with reference laboratories to advance diagnostic projects.

The position requires a strong background in molecular biology and genetics, aseptic technique, and experience with CAP practices and cGLP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field is required. Strong background in Molecular Biology and Genetics is a plus.
• The ideal candidate would be well versed in aseptic, microbiological, molecular, and cellular biology techniques. Experience with CAP accredited laboratory practices and cGLP is a plus.
• Experience in bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic pathogenesis, and culture is desirable.
• Experience in test development, troubleshooting, optimization, and validation, particularly qPCR, would be desirable.

Responsibilities

The Institute for Biomarker Research

(IBR), a division of GGG, is dedicated to the innovation of multi-variant-based personal diagnostics to assess disease evaluation, progression, regression, and patient stratification in order to establish a targeted, pharmacogenomic-based treatment approach tailored to every patient's specific clinical situation.

IBR is currently seeking a Research Associate. This position is in-person, in Hamilton, NJ.
