Suspension of Drexel University's Contribution into 403(b) Retirement Plan

Job Summary

We are inviting applicants to apply for a temporary job in Dr. Hangjun Ke’s lab within the department of Microbiology and Immunology at Drexel University College of Medicine.

Essential Functions

  • The Ke lab is dedicated to investigating Plasmodium falciparum malaria parasites for the purpose of developing new antimalarial therapeutics.
  • The temporary employee will have opportunities to learn CRISPR/Cas9 based gene editing techniques.
  • Perform PCR, molecular cloning, plasmid extractions (miniprep or maxiprep), and parasite cultivation.
  • Will work under the supervision of Dr. Ke and other senior members of the laboratory in a BSL2 setting.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in life science related fields .
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
