iCHAI Project Lab and Research Assistant Position

The Indiana Center for Healthcare Artificial Intelligence (iCHAI), led by physician-researcher Dr. Andrew Gonzalez, is located at the Regenstrief Institute's William M. Tierney Center for Health Services Research. The lab focuses on applying AI tools like NLP, computer vision, and multimodal modeling to electronic health record data, aiming to improve clinical decision-making and address healthcare disparities.

The lab is hiring a Student Research Assistant (SRA) for a temporary, part-time role in 2025, with potential extension. Responsibilities include data annotation, coding, data management, literature reviews, and report development under Dr. Gonzalez's guidance. The position offers collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including clinicians and data scientists.

Position Details
