The Research Assistant in the Ko Lab at Texas A&M University Health Science Center, Department Cell Biology and Genetics, provides skilled administrative and technical support for research projects. Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications: None Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of laboratory maintenance and equipment. Knowledge of computers and computer software related to the position. Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the design, planning, and coordination of experiments in support of various research projects.
  • Manages laboratory resources, including routine equipment-function checks, maintenance of mouse cages, and reagent and supply inventory.
  • Assists undergraduate and/or graduate students and other laboratory, technical or field staff involved in research.
