UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Research Assistant II for Levi Lab focusing on musculoskeletal regeneration, trauma, and wound healing. The role involves coordinating and performing in vivo mouse models, tissue processing, cellular assays, data management, and collaboration with core facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and has experience with histology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology techniques, with strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Education as described: Bachelor's in biology/related field or Master's with relevant coursework.
• Experience with mouse handling, colony management, histology, fluorescence microscopy, flow cytometry, and mammalian cell culture preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to manage multiple experiments.
• Desirable: experience with quantitative image analysis, R or Python, and musculoskeletal research.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise assigned research projects, and perform advanced research work as needed.
• Construct, assemble, and operate laboratory apparatus and equipment.
• Assemble and analyze research data; prepare material for reports or publication.
• May supervise technicians or junior staff; assist with protocol development and reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
