The College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hematology and Oncology, is recruiting a part-time Research Assistant.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct online literature searches using PubMed, clinical trial databases, conference abstracts, and NIH grant sites to support research initiatives.
  • Organize and maintain search results in Word documents and Excel spreadsheets for analysis and reporting.
  • Draft, edit, and prepare clinical research protocols and study documents for submission and review.
  • Support regulatory processes, including preparation of materials for protocol approval and compliance activities.
  • Participate in occasional patient-facing activities, including interviews and surveys.
  • Maintain research databases, ensuring accurate data entry and integrity.
  • Assist with manuscript preparation and submission for publication.
  • Create and edit content for presentations, including graphics, posters, and PowerPoint slides for departmental meetings and conferences.
Required Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
