Job summary

Metro Infusion Center is seeking a Research Assistant under the supervision of the Director of Research to support non-clinical data collection across multiple projects. Responsibilities include data entry, analysis of clinical data, and ensuring adherence to study protocols and objectives.

The role involves setting up and calibrating research equipment, assisting monitors, handling lab samples, uploading documents to EMR, and coordinating with sponsors and CRAs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degrees in social sciences or health-related fields preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Experience in the medical field preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter data proficiently into a data capture system for sponsors and CROs.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain lab/field research equipment as required.
• Assist Clinical Research Associates monitoring studies (on- and off-site).
• Invoice payments for the clinical trial budget.
• Ship lab samples following regulations and protocols.
• Upload study documents to EMR chart and track specimen shipments.
• Attend project meetings and communicate with staff via email/phone.
• Perform ECGs and phlebotomy as needed.
