Carnegie Mellon University's department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a Research Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing support in the development of based educational modules for outreach efforts and for senior level materials and their processing for engineering course and such other tasks that are assigned to you.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Performs basic data analysis in order to product reports. Documents results and processes.
  • May test software prototypes. May interact with research subjects in order to perform job functions.
  • Follows research plans in order to collect, record, and manipulate research data. Maintains accurate and detailed research records and files.
  • Performs library research and field explorations.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
