Job summary

Augusta University is seeking a Research Assistant for the MCG Biochemistry and Molecular Biology group in Georgia. The role supports the Principal Investigator with cell culture, proteomics, PCR/RT-PCR, immunocytochemistry, and related experiments in a multi-disciplinary environment.

The candidate will assist with data collection, literature, and protocol adherence, while working closely with a lab team and potentially with mouse models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with lab/research experience.
• OR Associate's with 3 years' research/clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• TECHNICAL WORK: Support ongoing research projects and develop new techniques.
• LABORATORY ACTIVITIES: Manage day-to-day lab operations, inventories, and reagents.
• DATA: Collect, analyze, and present data per protocols.
• OTHER: Perform additional duties as assigned.
