TEKsystems in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Usability Specialist to support a design team in the logistics space. You will conduct human-centered research—field studies, interviews, surveys, and usability tests—to inform tools for internal and third-party customers and to improve the end-customer experience.

Collaborate with designers and UX researchers, translate findings into clear recommendations, stay current with UX trends, and help evolve research programs to meet changing business needs.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience conducting user research in a product-focused environment.
• Expertise in a range of user research methodologies and the ability to select the right methods for the research objectives.
• Demonstrated track record of translating research insights into impactful product and design decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to uncover meaningful insights from complex data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present research findings clearly and compellingly.
• Passion for staying up-to-date on the latest UX research trends and best practices.

Description

This role supports a design team in the operations space that is focused on the transportation of goods throughout a logistics network ensuring a high quality end-customer experience with. As a Usability Specialist on this team you will play a crucial role in enabling the transportation of goods by creating products for both internal and third-party customers. Your human-centered research process will incorporate a variety of methodologies field study in-depth interviewing surveys to drive understanding of our users and drive the creation of tools that match their needs.

Key job responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the following:

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
