Modis is seeking an R&D Technician III Leader in Santa Clarita, CA for a 12+ month contract. The role supports engineers and teams in developing and analyzing products, materials, and processes, including prototype construction and testing.

Responsibilities include CAD documentation in SolidWorks, coordinating build and test activities, and ensuring quality requirements are met. Strong electrical and assembly basics are preferred to drive innovative concepts.

Competenze

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 3 years of related experience.

• Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software (SolidWorks) to document prototypes and fixtures.
• Explore and propose creative solutions based on solid rationales and contribute to design and process concepts.
• Organize, coordinate, and execute building and testing of prototypes/products per engineering instructions.
• Assist project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards.
• Use internal resources and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to identify and obtain supplies and services.
• Act as a resource to other employees.
• Communicate project status to project teams.
• Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Modis is seeking a for a R&D Technician III Leader at Location: Santa Clarita, CA for a contract Duration: 12+Months.

Pay Range: $40/h- $44/h; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• This position works independently to assist R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment.
• This person will be working with hiring manager, along with other teams in department.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop concepts and accordingly construct prototypes/products from concepts.
• Utilize basic mechanical drawing or CAD software (SolidWorks) to document prototypes and fixtures.
