The Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for “Research and Development Associate I”.

This position is split 50/50 between compound management and assay development.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare assay-ready plates using automation and manage compound inventory.
• Coordinate compound shipments and maintain library records.
• Develop and run biochemical and cell-based assays in 384- and 1536-well formats.
• Support high-throughput screening using liquid handlers and analyze assay data.

Qualifications

• B.S. (up to 4 yrs exp.) or M.S. (up to 2 yrs exp.) in Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Experience with plate-based assays and lab automation.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred

• Background in compound management, LIMS, or HTS workflows.
• Familiarity with liquid handling systems and basic cell culture.

Additional Information:

• Location: Cambridge, MA
• Assignment Duration: 12 months
• Pay range: $ 30-$34/hr. on W2

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
