Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related field.
• Sophomore year completed by start of internship (preferred).
• Strong written and verbal English communication required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research projects related to current and future business opportunities for Heartland Food Products Group.
• Set up and calibrate instruments for sample analysis.
• Accurately prepare samples for testing.
• Support the Research and Analytics team in completing projects.
• Ensure results are recorded, reviewed and verified using Good Documentation Practices, GLPs and GMPs.
• Analyze, review, and report results.
• All other duties as assigned.
