Crossing Hurdles is seeking a seasoned sell-side Research Associate to own company models and deliver high-quality written research. You will synthesize earnings data, perform peer benchmarking, and contribute to AI training datasets.

You will produce sector insights, articulate investment theses, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly through reports and updates. The role requires deep industry knowledge and strong analytical skills across earnings cycles.

• Deliver detailed written evaluations of company models, including revenue, margin, cash flow, and valuation drivers.

Requirements

• Have strong relevant experience as a sell-side Research Associate with direct ownership of company models and written research, or as a publishing/lead Research Analyst.
• Track record of independently covering multiple companies through several earnings cycles and maintaining comprehensive models.
• Proven ability to connect business drivers to financial outcomes and valuation.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least one sector (e.g., banks, insurance, biotech), with the ability to provide deep, specialist insights.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts clearly.
• History of performing granular earnings analysis, peer benchmarking, valuation, and event-driven research updates.
• Experience formulating and defending investment theses and research views, with accountability for research accuracy and quality.
