Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Research Analyst III to support R&D activities for a federal client, focusing on microbiological and chemical contaminants. Responsibilities include laboratory and field research, sample processing, molecular detection, and method validation.

You will document results and prepare reports for publication. Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in biology with 3+ or 6+ years of related experience, respectively, and the ability to obtain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting laboratory testing and analysis.
• Ability to document laboratory activities, analyze data, and support development of technical reports.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Support research and development activities, including laboratory and field-based research.
• Collect, prepare, process, and analyze samples.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analyses, including molecular detection and/or characterization of viruses and other microorganisms.
• Develop, optimize, and/or validate methods for the identification of pathogens.
• Document laboratory analyses, procedures, results, and observations.
• Prepare project reports and manuscripts for publication.
