Job summary

The Special Investigations Section Research Analyst II at Baltimore City Police Department will handle administrative duties, prepare briefing and ComStat materials, monitor training and compliance, and support communication from the section to Executive Command.

Candidates should be proficient with Axon Case Management and Microsoft Office, possess a bachelor's degree and two years' data experience, and demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college; course in quantitative methods or research methods (preferred).
• Two years of experience in collecting, compiling and interpreting data.
• Proficiency with Axon Case Management and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in demanding situations and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Review Axon Case Management reports.
• Analyze data and records to support ongoing investigations.
• Prepare daily briefing reports and weekly Comstat materials for command.
• Coordinate information between units.
• Maintain strict confidentially and data security.
