Job summary

Baltimore City Police Department is seeking a Research Analyst II, SIS (NSC), to handle the administrative responsibilities of the Special Investigations Section. You will prepare daily briefing and CompStat materials, monitor training and compliance tasks, maintain staff reports, and assist with communications from the section to Executive Command.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with quantitative or research methods preferred.
• Two years of experience in collecting, compiling and interpreting data.
• Equivalency between education and experience allowed.

Responsibilities

• Review and manage Axon Case Management reports.
• Analyze data and records to support ongoing investigations.
• Prepare detailed daily briefing reports and weekly ComStat materials for command Investigative Support.
• Coordinate information between units.
• Review flyers and intelligence for relevance to the section.
• Communicate professionally with Officers, Detectives, Supervisors, and Professional Staff.
• Respond to internal requests from Command.
• Maintain strict confidential and ethical standards and data security.
