Job summary

Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP in San Diego, California seeks a Legal Research Librarian to conduct in-depth legal and business research for attorneys and staff. You will analyze findings, maintain ongoing awareness systems, and support with AI-enabled tools and analytics.

Qualifications

• MLS, MLIS, or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience conducting legal and business research in a large law firm or similar or professional services environment.
• Strong client service orientation and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex information clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business productivity tools.

• Familiarity with generative AI and AI-enhanced legal research tools.
• Experience developing and delivering training programs or presentations preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of firm and client information.

The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skill set, and geographic location.
