Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Grant Preparation (pre-award): responsible for all administrative aspects of grant preparation of sponsored research applications.
• Portfolio Management (post-award): financial management of sponsored and institutional funds, prepare reports, ensure spending adheres to budgets.
• Procurement: approve/initiate purchase requests, verify funds, review bills for services.
• Human Resources: onboarding, post positions, salary offers, visa processing; ongoing merit, equity, promotions, salary allocations.
• Compliance: liaise with faculty/OGC/Innovations on MTA, DUA, consulting; advise researchers on compliance issues.
• Cores, Centers and Chargebacks: pricing development, monthly billing, manage revenue vs expenditures.
