Job Summary: Join a collaborative team advancing innovative cancer research,education, and patient care at the University of Wisconsin Schoolof Medicine and Public Health. The Department of Radiation Medicineis seeking a highly organized and motivated Research ProgramCoordinator to support research initiatives, faculty recruitmentefforts, and strategic departmental programs within the Radiation Medicine Physics program.

In this dynamic role, you will serve as a key partner bycoordinating research activities, managing program operations,facilitating multidisciplinary collaborations, and supportinggrant-funded initiatives. You will help bring people together toadvance scientific discovery by coordinating participantengagement, tracking project milestones, maintaining programdocumentation, and supporting data collection and analysis effortsfor informal and formal reporting. You will serve as a central hubfor scheduling coordination and logistics, ensuring seamlessalignment of meetings, events, travel, and programmatic activitiesacross leadership, stakeholders, and research initiatives includinginternal and external collaborators. You will support thedevelopment of high-impact grant proposals and research protocols,assisting in their development and assembly while ensuringcompliance with all applicable regulations while advancinginnovative initiatives.

This position is not a laboratory-based research role and doesnot involve conducting bench research or experiments. Thisposition is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships,managing complex projects, improving processes, and contributing towork that has a meaningful impact on research, education, and thefuture of cancer care. This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating recruitment, onboarding, training activities, meetings, or events involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with data management, reporting, survey administration, or analysis tools, including experience maintaining documentation, tracking project metrics, and supporting compliance-related activities.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with emerging AI tools in an office setting including applying them to drive efficiency and process improvements.

Education: Bachelors degree preferred.
